Media pack introductory offer to end soon!

I’ve been having fun doing media packs for various bloggers, with an introductory rate of £40 for a media pack. The feedback has been really great!

The fee includes three image exports of various sizes, and a pdf file – complete with links, and compressed for easy emailing. Plus, free info updates of the file for one year.

Although it’s an enjoyable job, it is taking a little longer per pack than I expected so the intro price will be going up to £50 per pack when I get back from our holiday next week – not a huge increase but an increase nonetheless! Orders made before 23rd March 2015 will be charged at the £40 rate, but after that I will be increasing the price.

To order a media pack just head here and fill out the form. All orders will be fulfilled after I get back from our holiday.

Creating Chelsea Mamma – designing around a header image

When Kara hired Ellie Illustrates to create a new header for her blog, Chelsea Mamma, she decided she wanted a custom theme built around her new header – and that’s where I come in. This is probably my favourite kind of job; taking a header or logo design from a graphic designer, and creating the perfect theme to match it.

A gorgeous header does not make a blog design great all on it’s own… To give you an idea of how much difference it makes to create a theme around a header, rather than just using a header in a generic theme, take a look at the before screenshot for the Chelsea Mamma blog: Continue reading “Creating Chelsea Mamma – designing around a header image”

Media Packs now available!

Well, I have to say I didn’t expect that. Following the inclusion of the media pack I created for Donna at the end of my previous blog post, I am now offering Media Pack design for bloggers. “Due to popular demand” is the appropriate phrase I believe!

I’ve gone for a price of £40, which reflects several hours of work designing & refining the pack, plus exporting and so on – I think this is fair. I’ve already added a second pack to my portfolio, having had the pleasure of doing one for Clare over at Emmy’s Mummy.

I enjoy doing these jobs as they are great in between coding sessions, requiring less constant focus (and therefore do-able when the kids are around!).

Media packs are brilliant for sending to brands and PRs who are interested in finding out more about your blog, or working with you. They include key info; an introduction to your blog, statistics, social media reach, and so on.
