I recently joined a group called ‘UK Lady Bloggers’, which has allowed me to discover some great blogs written by intelligent women from the UK – something which is actually quite difficult to find on the web. In my experience, the online world is dominated by men, and it can sometimes be hard to find women to connect with. Not that I’ve got anything against men, but it’s nice to find the ladies that are on the web too!  Unfortunatley I probably won’t be able to make the first meetup as it’s scheduled for my birthday weekend, but I’m sure if it is successful there will be more in future.
