So, as you all know, I’ve been ebaying things lately – to help with my wedding/honeymoon/christmas fund. So, a few days ago my old DS lite, which I was selling with brain training thrown in, was up to £72. I was ok with that.. I knew it would go up a bit more but I wasn’t expecting much over £80/£90.. so imagine my surprise when it went for £117!! Including the £8 postage, the payment that landed in my account early this morning was £125!!
Just to put this in perspective, my new DS lite (important from USA but with a 1 year warranty – brand new) cost me £108. The same bundle I sold, but with a new DS lite instead of my second hand one, goes for less than £110 on play.com – with free postage! You gotta love supply and demand. I got my money back + extra, because DS lites are in short supply at Christmas time! And with the other games, dvds and things I’m selling off, I’ve added to the fund a nice little pile of money – and I’m not finished yet! Yay!
