Disorientated

Last night, I had very confusing dreams. This morning, I woke up a little bit bewildered & very unsure of my own memory.

Yesterday evening, James & I went round to my Ruth’s house (my Mother in Law) to have dinner with her parents. Despite my headache and various other pain (I hate being a girl sometimes!), I had a good evening. It was lovely to see them & catch up, and I managed to get a peep at the puppies too – always good!

We chatted about various things – our wedding, various family members, upcoming events, etc.The usual sorts of things that you chat to family about.

What was weird about my dreams last night, however, was the fact that it was the evening replayed over & over – with different conversations. Different topics of discussion – there were all sorts of small changes that didn’t add up properly. Even my physical appearance kept changing in different ways.

It felt incredibly real, and was very, very weird. I still feel a bit unsettled by the whole thing. :(

Do you have strange dreams?

I have some very odd dreams. Some play out like movies (or more often, episodes of Dr Who!) but sometimes my brain does exactly this – replays an evening out or with a friend but with subtle changes so that I’m never sure exactly what did and didn’t happen… it’s most disconcerting!

It is very confusing! I was a bit unsettled all day, until James got home & gave me a big hug. I don’t think this has happened to me before quite so realistically.

Thankfully, most of it seems to be fading away into dreamland now and I can’t remember much. :)

I am going to positively SPAM you with puppy photos this Autumn/Winter. They are just so cute and there are 6 of ‘em! Ok, so I’m going to go a bit mad on my blog at least.

But you can never have enough cute puppies, right?

Weird dreams can sometimes quite funny – it was the fact that these were so realistic and confusing that got me unsettled! Thankfully I’ve forgotten most of it now so I’m not quite so mixed up about what actually happened on Sunday evening!

I’ve had the strangest, most unpleasant dreams for the last two nights. It must be something in the air…
