Destruct-o Dog!

Recently, while I’m at work, Homily seems to be getting a bit… restless.

Whenever we finish any sort of plastic tub of food, whether it is ice cream or a sandwich spread, we leave the tub on the floor for Homily to lick out. She likes it. A lot.

But what she also likes, is to use these tubs as a chew toy while I’m at work. I think it’s only because they taste good, like the food that once lived inside them. She does a good job though!

She has also discovered the joy that can be brought by investigating everything in the house, and that opening plastic things sometimes leads to food. This has led to a few amusing incidents, leaving me laughing my head off when I get home from work. Today I came home to this:

Destruct-o Dog

Thoroughly chewed egg mayo pot, ice cream tub & ikea lampshade

I’m not really annoyed. The Ikea lampshade only cost 49p. It’s just amusing that Homily was stupid enough to think it might be food inside that plastic wrapper.

James will be put off that she seemed to think his little wooden penguin ornament was edible though. Oops.

Hmmm. Maybe I should have called this post Dumb-o Dog!
