I’ve had a bit of a rubbish afternoon/evening today, as I was struck with an almighty headache after lunch and had to give up on the wallpaper stripping and climb into bed. As a result I’ve spent the last 8 hours or so in a drug induced haze, whilst James has been an absolute star and almost finished stripping the walls.
Anyway, I thought in an effort to cheer myself up I would share what new purchases I got this week! I bought all of these from Simply Be, which is a fantastic ‘big girls’ website, with actual reasonable prices. I’m not extremely gigantic, but I am a plus size girl, and usually fit into the top end of ranges in New Look etc. However I find that clothes from places such as Evans or Simply Be are designed to cope with big boobs & a big bum a bit better than most high street shops!
This was my first clothes shopping this year so I was all exciting to try it all on, and I love it all so yay!
What do you think? I got it all for about £80 + postage

LOVE those jeans! I want some wide-leg flares (got rid of all my home-inserted flares along with my pink hair when I decided I had to start being “a grown up”) and they’re closest I’ve seen to any I like! Also, have a very large rear and find that high street jeans just don’t account for it!
The three layer vest is adorable too!
Thanks! The jeans are actually on sale at the moment, they’re called Selma Lightweight Jeans & come in different lengths which I love because I have long legs and hate jeans that are too short! That’s another problem I have when buying high street jeans.
Oh, and if you buy anything from Simply Be make sure to use this voucher code: JJHC4 – it gives you 10% off!
The vests are 3 separate ones, but you can wear them layered of course – I love love vest tops and have all manner of them in different styles! The Gap is fabulous for vest tops as well.
